Gil Tirlet

Gil TIRLETBorn on March 17th, 1961 in !Paris. Doctoral degree from the University René Descartes – Paris V, Lecturer and Professor in Fixed Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Paris V and Hospital Practitioner at the AP-HP since 1998. Member of the Research Group in Biomaterials (under the direction of Pr Michel Degrange) from 1991 to 1997, Former member of the French Society of Esthetic Dentistry (SFDE), and Former President of the Academy of Adhesive Dentistry of Ile-de- France (ADDA).

Private practice in Paris since 1986. For more than 20 years, he has been specialized (private practice) in Restorative Dentistry and Fixed Prosthodontics. Speaker of more than 600 national and international conferences, he has published more than 90 national and international articles dedicated to aesthetics, in particular indirect techniques with composite and ceramic restorations. Since 3 years, he has published several national and international papers about Bioemulation and Bonded Partial Restorations with Dr Panaghiotis Bazos and also treatment of Enamel White Lesions with Dr JP Attal ( International Orthod and EJED). In 2004, in collaboration with Dr Jean Pierre Attal, he has founded “SMILE”, the working group on subjects involving all domains of Esthetic Dentistry from ethical aspects until treatment description.

In 2006, he received, from the SOP, the “Best clinical article” prize on “Single tooth missing” In 2008, he again received from the SOP the “Best speaker of the year” prize. In 2009, he has found also with Dr Jean Pierre Attal the “Group Raphaël Formation” (www.formationgrf.com) which represents a pedagogic group with specific goal about formation in Biomimetic and Esthetic Dentistry for French and International practitioners. In 2011, he creates a Biomimetics consultation at the Hospital Charles Foix, in Ivry sur Seine. In 2012, he integrates the International Team of Bioemulation on the recommendations of Dr Pascal MAGNE (Professor to USC, California) and Dr Panaghiotis Bazos (Athen, Grece).
